XRD laboratory

X-ray machine is essential to characterize the structure of materials, primarily the crystalline structure. In the x-ray diffraction laboratory, both thin film and powder samples are characterized. Customized sample cell is available for liquid samples to be analyzed as a function of temperature. Even, the electron density profile for amorphous materials with layered structure can be derived by using x-ray reflectivity technique.
